Our project aims:
- to further enhance links with partner schools and institutes across Europe
- to compare and contrast ways of life in order to support our students and staff in adopting a healthier, fitter lifestyle and attitude
- to combat mutual concerns in student diet and health
- to improve and promote strategies in raising the physical and mental health of our students
- to identify, share and build on examples of best practice in raising attainment
- to enhance teaching and learning by demonstrating pro-active teaching methods
- to build character, embed values of fairness and respect, and give all children the opportunities they need to be fit and healthy
- to address on-going relevant professional development in IT skills using transnational expertise and facilities
- to improve skills in the use of the e-Twinning platform to facilitate better communication and collaboration for students and teachers alike
- to celebrate achievement not only in our schools but also in the wider local community
- to develop language and communication skills
Our partnership believes that a transnational project produces direct and indirect benefits to stakeholders through:
- Access of European or joint facilities and equipment
- Share/Access techniques , knowledge and skills
- Increase knowledge capacity
- Share costs and risks
- Strengthen areas of weakness
- Address transnational or global problems
- Encourage further or additional links and enhance future funding opportunities
- Broaden the teaching and learning experience (cultural gain)
With this project, our students will:
- improve their language skills by including the Portfolio of European languages in their lives
- learn and practice important information skills
- raise awareness of their physical condition and healthy habits
- cooperate with other European students by using e-Twinning
- have contact with modern technology and knowledge
- develop their skills by following inter-curricular activities
- be aware of their progress as a result of clear rules/objectives based on key competences
- be involved in Entrepreneurship activities
